Hey Kyle,

Heather told me I'm crazy (which I can't argue with). She says that writing the book is the easy part - but promoting a book is the challenge!

That's true... only if you write a book nobody wants to read.

I don't mean to go all wise sage on you, but most people only think about PR AFTER they write their book.

But best-selling authors use PR to find out what their target audience wants even before they start to write their book.

Now, that makes sense.

Otherwise, it's like a restaurant serving their customers before they take their order, right? If they're lucky, they might get it right a few times, but mostly they are going to be serving their customers a tuna sandwich when they wanted a chicken salad sandwich, or serving a chicken salad sandwich to a vegetarian. Awkward!

If you want a successful book, you must find out what your target audience wants BEFORE you even start writing your book.

How do you do that? Easy - PR!

An easy way to do this is to find out what the media that serves your target market wants. Then, YOU know what your target market wants!

So how do you do that?
